A Learner's Guide to Kaytetye
Kaytetye is an endangered Central Australian language — this learner’s guide has been specifically designed to help with its survival. Includes structured dialogues and exercises and comes with two audio CDs that give practical instruction in the basics of the Kaytetye language.
Kaytetye is spoken at Barrow Creek, Artarre (Neutral Junction), Ilewarr (Stirling), Alekarenge (Ali Curung) and other communities in Central Australia. For Kaytetye people, their language is much more than a means of communication; it links them with their family, their country and their Dreamings.
